Rayan Cherki names Alexandre Lacazette as his best technical partner | OneFootball

Rayan Cherki has named Alexandre Lacazette as the team-mate with whom he shared his strongest technical connection.

"Alexandre Lacazette. He read the game so well. Sometimes I was not even looking at him but he knew how to be in the right place at the right time," said the France international, who has four caps and one goal, speaking to France Football.

The pair played together for three seasons from 2022 to 2025, during Lacazette's second spell at OL.

Across those three years they exchanged 11 assists, the best such partnership of Cherki's career, just ahead of Georges Mikautadze on nine.

For Lacazette, only four team-mates have yielded a better return, Corentin Tolisso, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nabil Fekir with 15, and Bafétimbi Gomis with 14.
