RB Leipzig have completed a deadline-day shake-up, signing Marc Guiu from Chelsea and sending Conrad Harder to Racing Strasbourg on loan.

Guiu has agreed a five-year deal to 30 June 2031. Transfermarkt reports Chelsea can receive up to €17m including realistically achievable bonuses and are protected by a sell-on clause.

Harder joins Strasbourg for the 2026/27 season, with the Ligue 1 club set to cover his salary, and there is no purchase option.

The 20-year-old, a Barcelona academy graduate, moved to Chelsea in 2024 after his €6m clause was triggered, and delivered eight goals and two assists in 29 appearances. He hit six in seven as Chelsea won the 2024/25 Conference League, but league minutes were scarce.

A short spell at Sunderland was terminated inside a month and his route in London remained congested.

Leipzig have handed him the No. nine, signalling a prominent role. His pressing, pace and penalty-box instincts match the centre-forward profile Leipzig typically seek.

Harder cost about €24m from Sporting CP last summer and produced four goals and four assists in 34 outings, largely from the bench. He also scored after coming on in the DFB-Pokal win at Eintracht Trier.
