RB Leipzig ‘to explore’ keeping Brighton loanee Brajan Gruda | OneFootball

RB Leipzig are exploring ways to keep Brajan Gruda beyond this season, according to Sport Bild.

The report adds that a permanent transfer is viewed as impossible because Brighton would want to recoup most of the €31.5 million they paid to sign him from Mainz in 2024.

As things stand, the 21-year-old will leave Leipzig at the end of his loan and return to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Leipzig would like him for at least another season and are assessing alternatives, including another loan.

Gruda joined from Brighton in January and has three goals and three assists for Leipzig since then.
