RB Leipzig ‘to explore’ summer move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra | OneFootball

According to Fussball Transfers, RB Leipzig have taken initial steps over a potential summer move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra.

The 24-year-old is due to return to Sunderland after a successful six-month loan at AS Monaco, though it is unclear whether he will remain with the Black Cats.

In Leipzig, Adingra could replace fellow Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, whose future with Die Roten Bullen is uncertain.

AS Roma, West Ham United, Ipswich Town and Hull City are also said to be monitoring Adingra.

Monaco are interested in bringing him back on loan for another spell.

Adingra recorded three goals and two assists in 17 appearances for Monaco in the second half of last season. His Sunderland contract runs until 2030.
