Ole Werner makes one change from the win away to Werder Bremen, El Chadaille Bitshiabu replaces Castello Lukeba.

Eugen Polanski makes two changes from the draw with Heidenheim, Lukas Ullrich and Haris Tabaković come in for Wael Mohya and Shuto Machino.

RB Leipzig set up 4-3-3, Vandevoordt in goal, a defence of Baku, Orbán, Bitshiabu and Raum, midfield of Schlager, Seiwald and Baumgartner, and a front line of Diomande, Rômulo and Nusa.

Borussia Mönchengladbach line up 3-4-2-1, Nicolas in goal, Elvedi, Diks and Sander at the back, Scally, Reitz, Engelhardt and Ullrich across midfield, with Castrop and Honorat behind Tabaković.
