According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig would be willing to negotiate a deal beneath Castello Lukeba’s (22) release clause as the Frenchman flirts with exit this summer. The former Lyon defender’s release clause is in the region of €80m.
Despite a clause being inserted in the centre-back’s contract, the Bundesliga club would be willing to accept an offer in the region of €65m – €70m, which will likely increase the number of clubs interested in his services. After 3 years at the club, the Frenchman is interested in a new challenge.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old, with Arsenal most recently declaring their interest in the defender. L’Équipe understand the Premier League club have opened talks regarding a transfer for the French international.
