Bild claims that RB Leipzig's Peter Gulacsi turned down Tottenham Hotspur in January, with the Premier League club said to have offered a lucrative deal running to 2028.

The goalkeeper has since extended his Leipzig contract to 2027 after months of speculation over his future.

He chose to stay even though he is expected to hand over the number one role next season to the younger Maarten Vandevoordt.

Gulacsi has been with Leipzig since 2015.

The 35-year-old has made 360 appearances for Die Roten Bullen.
