RC Strasbourg have opened talks with Giovanni Reyna and Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to Sky Germany.

Discussions are at an early stage and there is no agreement yet. Strasbourg are nonetheless working on a deal for the United States international.

Gladbach would be open to letting Reyna leave if a suitable offer arrives.

The 23-year-old only joined Gladbach last summer after leaving Borussia Dortmund.

He is attracting interest from France, with Strasbourg a potential destination if talks progress in the coming weeks.
