Gabriel Moscardo, 20, has joined RCD Espanyol on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, his third temporary move since leaving Corinthians for the French club. The move was confirmed on Wednesday.
According to Meu Timao, the agreement runs for one season and contains no option to buy.
In his first words as an Espanyol player, the Brazilian highlighted his bond with supporters, drawing a parallel with Corinthians and the passion he expects at his new club. The fanbase was among the reasons for his choice and he is eager to meet them.
Corinthians sold Moscardo to PSG in January 2024 for €20 million fixed, about R$ 107 million at the time. He stayed at Parque São Jorge until June to complete recovery from left foot surgery, finishing with 27 games and one goal.
After a pre-season friendly debut in early August 2024, he did not feature in official competition under Luis Enrique and joined Stade de Reims on loan. He made 10 appearances there and scored one goal, while winning the under-20 South American title with Brazil in February alongside Corinthians duo Felipe Longo and Breno Bidon.
Last season he spent another loan at SC Braga in Portugal, playing 39 times, often as a centre-back, and registering one goal and one assist. His PSG contract runs until June 2028.
