England clung on to their Women's EUROs title defence hopes on Tuesday evening with a pulsating 2-1 comeback victory over Italy in the semi-final.
The Lionesses trailed for most of the match after Barbara Bonansea's opener in the first half. Just as Sarina Wiegman's side were facing elimination deep into injury time, Michelle Agyemang equalised to send the game to extra time.
The contest seemed destined for penalties with both sides holding on in the closing minutes until Beth Mead drew a foul from Severini inside the penalty area.
Super sub from the quarter-final, Chloe Kelly, stepped up to take the resulting spot-kick and missed, but was quick to react and tap in the follow-up, sparking electric celebrations from the travelling England fans.
After England held on to reach a third consecutive major tournament final, the partying continued amongst the squad and supporters into the evening.
England will face either Spain or Germany in the final on Sunday. Can the Lionesses go all the way and defend their EUROs title?
