Having already signed two players from Real Madrid this summer, Albacete have their sights set on another young talent from Valdebebas.
The Spanish second-division initially signed Jesus Vallejo on a free transfer after his contract at Real Madrid expired at the end of the season.
Earlier this week, they also roped in young defender Lorenzo Aguado from La Fabrica, who has signed a three-year deal with the lower-league club.
Now, according to journalist Angel Garcia (h/t AS), Albacete aim to secure the services of Antonio David from Real Madrid Castilla.
The club’s sporting director, Toche, is currently planning a complex three-way operation to sign midfielder the 19-year-old midfield talent from Real Madrid and subsequently loan him to Real Murcia, who compete in the RFEF Primera Division.
David has been with Real Madrid since 2020, having joined the club’s academy from Malaga. Having risen through the ranks, he broke into the Castilla setup in the 2023/24 season and went on to make 28 appearances.
Capable of playing as an interior midfielder or a pivot, David has demonstrated good potential and Albacete aim to secure the services of the 19-year-old midfielder and loan him to a lower-division side to ensure he gains regular playing time.
This move once again reflects the strong relationship between Real Madrid and Albacete, reinforced this summer by the arrivals of Vallejo and Aguado from the capital club.
