One of the transfer stories of the summer has taken another twist on Saturday.
Yan Diomande, a name that made headlines during the World Cup, has now reportedly 'agreed personal terms' with Real Madrid.
This is according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who continues to provide an update on what will be an interesting race for the 19-year-old winger.
Currently of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, Diomande was initially linked with Paris Saint-Germain and had agreed personal terms with the Champions League holders back in June.
Los Blancos are now in the mix, hoping to prevent his talents from arriving in Paris and instead secure his services for Madrid. It's also an interesting move as Arsenal are reportedly eager to sign Vinicius Junior the other way.
According to Romano, the Spanish club are prepared to offer a new bid to Leipzig after €90m plus €10m was initially rejected. PSG, meanwhile, remain in contact, too.
Diomande impressed with Côte d'Ivoire at the 2026 World Cup across North America, notably making four appearances and registering an assist. At club level, he also has 26 goal contributions for Leipzig after just 36 appearances.
Where do you think he will end up by the end of the summer window? Let us know in the comments below.
