Spanish giants may well look to try and raid Chelsea to sign TWO of their players in the summer transfer window.

We are already well aware of their interest in signing Enzo Fernandez, and his interest in joining them as well. But there is another player who they are being linked with this morning, and if they managed to sign him, it could hurt Chelsea fans just as much as Fernandez going there, and arguably even more so.

They are being linked with a move to sign Blues defender Josh Acheampong now, with the academy graduate apparently attracting interest from around the globe.

The youngster doesn’t really play much for Liam Rosenior right now, so he may well get tempted if other clubs come in for him and start offering him more first team football, and you couldn’t blame him either.

According to a report from CaughtOffside today, multiple top clubs, including Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, and Newcastle United, are monitoring Acheampong’s progress closely.

Real Madrid reportedly view him as a possible long-term addition capable of strengthening their defensive depth.

Chelsea see him as untouchable, but it is stated that his contract situation could soon change that.

In other news today…

Regardless of any excuses, Liam Rosenior is struggling as Chelsea boss right now, and one line he’s had about training time is backfiring on him right now.

The latest Athletic Podcast this week covered Wesley Fofana, with Simon Johnson saying he doesn’t look like he has a future at Chelsea at the moment.
