Real Madrid are heading into one of their most demanding fixtures of the season, and Alvaro Arbeloa will have to deal with it under difficult circumstances.

The trip to Valencia has always been a tricky one, but this time the challenge is even greater due to several important absences.

After surviving a tense encounter against Rayo Vallecano last weekend, Madrid now travel to Mestalla without some of their most influential players.

The squad is not only dealing with injuries but also suspension issues, leaving Arbeloa with limited options for such a crucial match.

A tricky situation

The first confirmed absence is Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian picked up a yellow card against Rayo, which means he is automatically suspended due to accumulation.

It is a particularly unfortunate absence given his history at Mestalla, a stadium where he has often been at the centre of controversy and intense atmospheres.

The second major blow is Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder was forced off just eight minutes into the Rayo match after feeling a sharp pain in his left hamstring.

The injury looked serious from the moment it happened, and it quickly became clear that he could not continue.

His absence removes one of Real Madrid’s most decisive players at a time when the team needs stability and creativity.

Then there’s Asencio

Lastly, there are also concerns over Raul Asensio, who is being carefully managed by the medical staff

The defender has been playing with an injured right tibia for several weeks. While the injury is not considered dangerous in terms of long-term damage, it causes significant discomfort and limits his physical condition.

With the busy schedule offering little time for rest, the situation is becoming increasingly complicated.

The team’s morale has improved slightly after recent results, but it is still fragile, and the trip to Valencia will test both their character and depth.
