Asked to share his thoughts on the current state of world football, Eden Hazard didn't hesitate to weigh in on the Ballon d'Or race. Speaking to French outlet Téléfoot, the former Belgian international offered a direct and confident take on Kylian Mbappé, whom he already envisions reaching the pinnacle.

For Hazard, the French star's current trajectory leaves little room for doubt.

"He set the bar extremely high at the start of the season," he emphasized,

before broadening his remarks about the customary conditions that come with such an individual accolade.

"Can Mbappé win the Ballon d'Or? I think he will. He'll need to win the Champions League, La Liga, and go far at the World Cup. But I have absolutely no doubt about him: the Ballon d'Or will be his," Hazard concluded,
