After enduring one of the most underwhelming seasons in recent times, Real Madrid have come roaring back in the ongoing campaign, notably maintaining a hundred percent winning record.

Real Madrid are leading the La Liga table with 18 points in six matches while enjoying the best defensive start to the season in a decade.

In the Champions League, Real Madrid started out with a 2-1 win over Marseille. This has put Los Blancos in an excellent position as they look to fight for all titles this season.

Much of the credit should be given to Xabi Alonso, who has quickly transformed the team into a winning machine while adding more youthful exuberance in the process.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano (h/t RM4Arab), Real Madrid are extremely happy with Xabi Alonso and what he has done to the club so far.

The Italian transfer expert explains that Real Madrid’s happiness at Alonso goes beyond just the results. The club are delighted with the way the coach has handled every aspect of the management.

More importantly, Real Madrid acknowledge the fact that players are happier to play under Alonso, who has been fair to everyone and has not been shy at making tough decisions.

Real Madrid also like the fact that Alonso is attentive to the smallest detail and how the Spaniard shares a healthy relationship with almost every player.

This has reflected strongly on results, too, with Real Madrid emerging as one of the best-performing teams in Europe this season.

However, it must be noted that things will get significantly more difficult for Los Blancos. The upcoming game against Atletico Madrid, for example, will be Alonso’s biggest test yet as a Real Madrid.

That will be followed by a series of tough matches against the likes of Man City and Barcelona. Alonso must navigate these challenges with ease if he truly wants to prove himself at Real Madrid.
