Real Madrid transfer news continues to feature Ayyoub Bouaddi, but the Spanish giants are facing growing competition in the battle for one of Europe’s most sought-after young midfielders.

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are all actively monitoring the Lille star, who has emerged as one of the breakout players of the World Cup.

The transfer market for Ayyoub Bouaddi is becoming increasingly crowded following the teenager’s impressive displays for Morocco. 

While Real Madrid remain interested, Lille are in a strong position and have no intention of letting one of their biggest assets leave cheaply.

In fact, it is said that the French club is demanding between €80 million and €100 million for one of their most promising players.

Bouaddi attracting major interest

The Lille midfielder has caught the attention of scouts from several elite clubs after producing a series of top performances on the biggest stage.

Real Madrid have been closely linked with the Moroccan international in recent weeks, with reports suggesting the club sees him as a potential long-term addition to its midfield department, although they are far from alone.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are all tracking the teenager’s development, while PSG and Barcelona have also been credited with interest.

The growing list of admirers highlights how highly Bouaddi is regarded across Europe.

Lille hold strong position

Notably, any club hoping to secure an Ayyoub Bouaddi transfer will face a difficult negotiation with Lille.

This is because the French side has the player under contract until 2029, significantly strengthening their position in the market.

Furthermore, Lille president Olivier Letang values the midfielder at between €80 million and €100 million.

The club would also prefer a structure where Bouaddi is sold but immediately loaned back for another season, allowing him to continue his development in familiar surroundings.

That proposal could appeal to several interested clubs, particularly those looking at the player as a long-term investment rather than an immediate starter.

On top of that, Lille’s qualification for the Champions League next season further reduces any pressure to sell. 

With European football secured and Bouaddi under a long-term contract, the French club can afford to wait for the right offer.
