Michael Olise’s future is making headlines once again. According to a media report, the Bayern star is said to be seeking talks with club officials—and Real Madrid apparently remains an attractive destination.
Speculation surrounding Michael Olise continues to gain momentum. Although the French national team player is under contract with FC Bayern through 2029 and is considered unsellable within the club, rumors of a possible move to Real Madrid show no signs of abating.
As reported by the Spanish newspaper AS, Olise has reportedly already asked Bayern’s bosses for a meeting. According to the report, the 24-year-old wants to know how the club assesses his on-field situation and his long-term role.
According to information from BILD, the attacking player is definitely considering his future despite his long-term contract.
Sources close to the Frenchman say that Olise feels he has already achieved a great deal by winning the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup in Munich. He is also said to have doubts about whether FC Bayern will remain among the top favorites to win the Champions League in the coming years.
One club in particular is said to appeal to him: Real Madrid.
At Säbener Straße, however, there is absolutely no thought of a sale. Sporting director Max Eberl has emphasized several times in recent weeks that Olise does not have a buyout clause and is firmly part of the club’s plans for the future.
Most recently, SPORT BILD also reported on a special agreement between President Herbert Hainer and Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez. According to the report, both clubs agreed that, in the event of concrete interest, they would first communicate directly with each other to avoid public price-gouging.

Real Madrid has also officially denied the recent speculation. In a statement, the club clarified that there had been “no contact, either direct or indirect, with the player in question, his representatives, or anyone associated with him.”
Whether Olise’s request for a meeting will actually have an impact on his future remains to be seen.
However, FC Bayern continues to plan for the long term with its star forward and views him as one of the most important building blocks for the coming years.
