Barcelona icon Lionel Messi is set to be joined at Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami by an iconic figure from none other than Real Madrid over the weeks ahead.

This comes as Casemiro prepares to put pen to paper on a deal at the Nu Stadium.

Midfielder Casemiro is all set to bid farewell to current employers Manchester United this summer.

Despite enjoying what has been an impressive campaign to date, the Brazil international has made the call not to put pen to paper on a new contract at Old Trafford.

And it would appear that this stance comes with Casemiro’s next landing spot already lined up.

As per a report from transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Inter Miami have been at final stages of deal to sign Casemiro for months, as reported since March. Casemiro wants Miami as next destination, with clear expectation to sign soon. The Brazilian wanted to finish season at Man United, then sign with Inter Miami.’

Casemiro is primed to join forces with a number of former rivals in the United States, from the aforementioned Leo Messi to Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul.
