Vinicius Jr.’s aggressive behaviour towards Stole Dimitrievski during the recent match against Valencia could have serious consequences for the Brazilian forward.
As the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup approach, Vinicius made a poor decision by engaging in an inappropriate action, accompanied by a series of insults and shouts before storming off the Mestalla pitch.
Now, according to SPORT, the rules surrounding aggression on the field are clear: a player who is sent off for such actions can face a suspension ranging from 4 to 12 matches.
This means that Vinicius could potentially miss the opening match of the Copa del Rey against Minera. While his absence from this fixture may not have been a major concern, the situation changes when it comes to the Super Cup.

Even if the suspension is limited to a minimum of 4 matches, it would mean that Vinicius would miss the Super Cup fixtures, including the potential final, and his participation in these high-stakes games is now uncertain.
The outcome of the case will largely depend on the details provided in the referee’s report.
Soto Grado, who officiated the match, will need to be clear in describing how he interpreted the incident involving Dimitrievski, especially regarding the aggression, as well as the threats and insults made by Vinicius when leaving the pitch.
Fortunately for the Brazilian, Antonio Rudiger was there to prevent further escalation by stepping in before things could worsen with Soto Grado.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has already expressed his belief that the decision to show Vinicius a red card was overly harsh.
The Italian coach feels that a yellow card for both players involved would have been a more appropriate punishment. Ancelotti confirmed that the club intends to appeal this decision, confident that the incident did not warrant such a severe penalty.
