German heavyweights Bayern Munich, Real Madrid’s upcoming opponents in the Champions League, have early this week been afforded a major boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Harry Kane is back in full training alongside the rest of Vincent Kompany’s squad.
Frontman Kane, in the midst of a spectacular individual campaign to date, was forced to sit out Bayern Munich’s comeback victory over Freiburg this past weekend.
As much came owing to an ankle injury suffered whilst on international duty with England over the last week.
His participation against Real Madrid in the Champions League’s quarter-finals on Tuesday night was in turn thrown up in the air.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from Bavaria on Monday is anything to go by, then Kane looks set to play his part.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, after the former Tottenham Hotspur standout was spotted back in group training this morning:
‘Harry Kane is back and travels to Madrid with FC Bayern squad to face Real.’
