Two leading members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid were put through individualised training sessions on Wednesday.

The pair in question? Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Jr.

Real Madrid are currently in the midst of preparations for a return to action this weekend.

Afforded a rare extended break between fixtures following a Copa del Rey final defeat at the hands of Barcelona last Saturday, Los Blancos will shift focus back towards matters in La Liga this coming Sunday.

A home meeting with Celta Vigo lies in store for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

In the buildup to the fixture, much of the chatter in Spain’s capital has centered on the injury problems in Real’s ranks at present.

As much comes with all of Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy and David Alaba having this week been condemned to fresh spells on the sidelines.

And the fitness concerns, it would appear, do not end there.

As per a statement released on Real Madrid’s official website this afternoon, the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr trained indoors at Valdebebas on Wednesday, away from the rest of boss Ancelotti’s squad.
