Dani Carvajal was given a touching tribute from home fans at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday during his final Real Madrid appearance.Â
The right-back walks away from Los Blancos after 451 games and 27 titles, including scoring the winner in the 2024 UCL final against Dortmund and being one of the final heroes from the club's iconic three-peat era.
To say goodbye, Madridistas in the capital ahead of their final league clash of the season unveiled a tifo picturing Carvajal as a young boy with club icon Alfredo DiStefano, recreating a real image of the duo.
awesome tifo tonight –Â
It read: “The dream of a kid, the success of a legend. Thank you, Dani Carvajal”.
Then, in a way to say thank you to the fans once more, Carvajal assisted the opener against Athletic Club just 12 minutes into the game.Â
One of the greats!
