The rumours surrounding potential departures and arrivals at Real Madrid continue unabated, as we reach the halfway point of the season.

While the club prepare to potentially say goodbye to players like Endrick, who is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on loan in January, and veterans like David Alaba or Antonio Rudiger in the summer, the front office is already working on high-profile replacements.

While Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano appears to be the chosen one for the defence, a new name has emerged for the attack.

Real Madrid ready to make an offer for Said El Mala

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have set their sights on FC Koln sensation Said El Mala.

The 19-year-old winger has become one of the most exciting prospects in Europe, known for his speed, dribbling ability, and eye for goal.

His explosion on the scene attracted serious interest from Paris Saint-Germain. In fact, there was talk that the French giants had already made significant progress in securing his arrival for 2026.

However, Real Madrid has intervened in the deal, causing a complete turnaround and leading the player to reconsider his future in favour of the Spanish capital.

El Mala is viewed as a welcome addition to the attack due to his versatility; he can operate on either flank as a winger or even play as a centre-forward.

Securing such talent won’t come cheap, but it appears affordable for Los Blancos. Initial reports suggest Real Madrid would need to pay an amount around €50-60 million.

The club consider this a reasonable fee for a player with such an interesting profile, as they look to build a squad capable of competing for titles in 2026 and beyond.
