Real Madrid’s board approved the 2025-2026 accounts on Tuesday, showing operating revenue of 1,221 million euros, up 3.1% year on year. The club said in a statement that it is the first sports organisation to surpass 1,200 million.
Growth was driven by stadium takings, up 11%, and marketing income, up 6%. Since 2018-2019, revenue has risen 61%, with 93% of that increase coming from streams directly managed by the club. Stadium revenue is 107% higher than in 2018-2019.
EBITDA reached 287.4 million euros, up 18% on last year, with EBITDA before asset disposals at 242.9 million, up 17%. Both are the highest in the club’s history. Profit after tax was 26.3 million euros, up 8%, marking 26 straight seasons of profit since 2000.
The club is owned by its members, does not distribute profits and takes no external equity, with all earnings reinvested in the organisation, infrastructure and sports squads.
Work on the Santiago Bernabéu remodelling is practically complete, with total investment of 1,407.7 million euros. In 2025-2026, a further 192 million euros went into facilities, the technology platform and the playing staff.
Squad costs have increased by 166 million euros, up 37%, since 2018-2019, with a staff-costs-to-income ratio of 46%, below a 50% mark. In 2025-2026, 161 million euros was committed to player signings.
Net assets are 624 million euros, cash 83 million and net debt 9 million, excluding the stadium project. Undrawn credit lines total 475 million euros, while tax and social security contributions reached 354.8 million.
