Real Madrid’s commitment to building from within has once again come to the forefront, with the club securing the future of one of its most promising young talents. 

According to a report from MARCA, highly-rated academy defender Liberto Navascues has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.

The 19-year-old full-back, who recently celebrated his birthday, has extended his stay by an additional three years beyond his previous deal, which was set to run until 2027.

 It is a clear signal of intent from Real Madrid, a club that continues to identify, nurture, and secure elite-level prospects from its famed Valdebebas academy.

Who is Navascues?

As per the outlet, Navascues is widely seen as another valuable gem emerging from the youth system, and his profile fits perfectly with the modern demands of the game. 

A left-footed full-back with pace and attacking intent, he is capable of covering the entire flank with ease. 

His ability to push forward, deliver in advanced areas, and even operate as a winger when required makes him a versatile asset.

Notably, Real Madrid brought him in from Rayo Vallecano when he was just ten years old.
