The upcoming summer will be one filled with changes at Real Madrid, starting from the manager itself, with Jose Mourinho all set to replace Alvaro Arbeloa.

There will be changes in the squad, too, with multiple departures expected to happen after back-to-back seasons with no major trophies.

One such player who could end up on the chopping block this summer happens to be midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

There have been contradicting reports about the Frenchman so far, with some suggesting that Real Madrid are open to offers while a few claim that the club do not intend to sell him.

Real Madrid set an asking price for Camavinga

Now, according to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Real Madrid have slapped a price tag of €80 million on Camavinga heading into the summer window.

This comes after the same journalist reported a couple of days ago that Turkish giants Galatasaray had shown an interest in the 23-year-old midfielder and had made an enquiry for him.

It has been a disappointing season for Camavinga, who struggled with fitness and lack of form, and even fell behind teenager Thiago Pitarch in the latter phases of the season under Arbeloa.

Given how things had gone for him, the midfielder was not called up by France manager Didier Deschamps for the 2026 FIFA World Cup either.

All this has combined to create speculations over Camavinga’s future, especially with Real Madrid targeting the signing of a new midfielder in the summer.

However, as reported previously, Camavinga has his heart set on staying put at the Santiago Bernabeu amidst all the rumours of a sale.

The French international understands that the current season has been a disappointing one, but remains intent on staying and fighting for his place and proving himself at Real Madrid.

But if any club decide to match Real Madrid’s asking price of €80 million, then Camavinga could end up being sold before next season.
