Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger has sent a message of warning the way of the club’s two biggest rivals, in Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.

This comes with a view to the upcoming Copa del Rey finale.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off keeping their hopes of a historic treble very much alive on Tuesday night.

After welcoming Real Sociedad to Spain’s capital for the 2nd leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final tie between the clubs, Los Blancos battled their way to a 4-4 draw on the night, and 5-4 aggregate triumph.

The 2nd semi-final tie will play to completion later this evening, with Barcelona and Atlético Madrid set to battle it out for the right to take on Carlo Ancelotti’s Real.

One member of the latter’s squad evidently of the opinion that it matters little who advances from Wednesday’s fixture, though, is the aforementioned Antonio Rüdiger.

Speaking to the media after notching the decisive goal in his side’s pulsating draw, defender Rüdiger was adamant:

“We’re in the Copa del Rey final, and we’re going to win it!”
