Real Madrid star is a ‘dream’ January transfer target in Germany | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is attracting serious transfer interest by way of the Bundesliga with a view to the 2nd half of the term.

This comes amid confirmation of Stuttgart having earmarked Gonzalo García as something of a ‘dream’ addition.

Frontman Gonzalo for his part featured from the off yesterday evening, as Real Madrid slipped to defeat at the hands of Manchester City in the Champions League.

All told this season, though, the Spaniard has found game-time somewhat difficult to come by, sitting firmly behind Kylian Mbappé in the centre-forward pecking order in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

With as much in mind, the aforementioned Stuttgart are keen to take advantage, by bringing Gonzalo to Germany during the winter transfer window.

As per a report from market insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky:

‘Gonzalo Garcia is the dream candidate for VfB Stuttgart for the upcoming transfer window. Garcia meets almost all of the criteria that VfB have in mind.’

It is also noted, however, that whilst initial talks have taken place, finding a deal with Real Madrid will be ‘very, very difficult’.
