Real Madrid star limps out of international fixture with injury | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Friday sparked widespread concern back in Spain’s capital.

This comes after the 26-year-old was forced into a premature departure from his latest outing on the international front.

Mbappé marked his return to action a short time ago, in France’s World Cup qualifying meeting with Azerbaijan.

The former PSG standout featured from the off in the fixture, and proved himself the star of the show.

En route to a 3-0 victory for Les Bleus, Mbappé opened the scoring in spectacular fashion, before laying on the assist for his country’s 2nd.

As alluded to above, though, inside the game’s closing stages, the attacker set alarm bells sounding.

This came upon Mbappé going to ground off the ball, seemingly struggling with the same ankle which he injured whilst lining out for Real Madrid last weekend.

From here, the Frenchman quickly called for a substitution, before limping straight down the tunnel to the dressing room.
