Real Madrid star ‘prioritising’ a move to Arsenal | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Rodrygo is keen on taking his talents to England with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal this summer.

That’s according to Gunners insider ‘HandofArsenal’ on ‘X’, who has on Saturday provided an update on the situation.

Frontman Rodrygo has of course been tipped for a potential Arsenal switch for some time now.

Struggling for game-time under the watch of new manager Xabi Alonso at the Club World Cup, the Brazilian, it is understood, will be allowed to depart over the weeks ahead in the case of a sufficient offer arriving for his services.

And in the case of as much coming to fruition, Rodrygo himself has a clear desired landing spot in mind.

As per a report from the aforementioned Hand of Arsenal:

‘Intermediaries with direct mandate from Saudi clubs have been told in no uncertain terms that Rodrygo’s preference is to move to the Premier League, with Arsenal his “absolute priority” in case a deal can be struck with Real Madrid.’

It is now up to the Emirates brass to meet the no doubt considerable demands of their Real Madrid counterparts.
