Real Madrid were dealt with a double whammy last midweek when the team not only lost to Arsenal, but also saw their star striker Kylian Mbappe pick up a fresh injury.
The injury has sparked fears about Mbappe potentially missing the upcoming Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona.
However, there have been some positives lately, especially after tests confirmed that it was only an ankle sprain.
Now, COPE suggests Mbappe might even play in Real Madrid’s upcoming league game against Getafe.
The reigning Spanish champions are slated to face Getafe on Wednesday evening, three days before the big Copa Del Rey final.
As per COPE, Mbappe could get some minutes against Getafe so that he can get himself back in the groove ahead of the cup final.

The report adds that there is no way the Frenchman’s availability or participation against Barcelona in the cup final will be under threat.
This could serve as a major boost for Real Madrid as they look to rebuild confidence in the camp after a shock Champions League exit.
Winning the Copa Del Rey against their arch-rivals could go a long way in helping Ancelotti reinstill trust from the board as well as his own players.
Real Madrid did show a lot of grit and determination in their recent win over Athletic Club, though they required some late magic from Federico Valverde to secure all three points.
With Mbappe likely to return, Real Madrid will be hoping for a smoother sail against Getafe.
