Real Madrid could be dealing with an unexpected internal situation as Jude Bellingham’s frustration over his recent role begins to surface.

According to a report from Ok Diario, the English midfielder was left unhappy after being named on the bench during the clash against Mallorca at the Son Moix Stadium.

Bellingham, who has only recently returned from injury, has been gradually reintegrated into the squad. 

However, the limited minutes he has received since his comeback appear to have caused some discontent, particularly given his importance to the team earlier in the season.

The situation became more noticeable after the Mallorca match, where he featured for just half an hour. 

Bellingham is not happy

It is said that Bellingham’s frustration is not just about one game, but rather the overall handling of his return. 

After making a substitute appearance in the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid prior to the international break, expectations were that he would quickly regain his starting role.

During the international break, despite being called up by Thomas Tuchel for England national football team duty, Bellingham was not used, a decision that reportedly puzzled figures within Real Madrid.

There was confusion regarding how his situation was managed. In fact, there were doubts about the logic behind leaving a fit player unused, especially given his need for match rhythm.

The tension surrounding his role was further highlighted by journalist Eduardo Inda, who shed light on the growing noise around the midfielder’s status.

“There’s a bit of a stir surrounding Bellingham. He’s demanding a starting spot, but he didn’t start against Atlético or at Son Moix,” he said.

For Alvaro Arbeloa, the situation presents a delicate balancing act. 

On one hand, he must manage the player’s fitness carefully to avoid setbacks. On the other, he must keep one of his most influential stars satisfied and fully engaged.

Looking ahead, there remains a possibility that Bellingham could return to the starting lineup in upcoming fixtures. 

However, an immediate start against Bayern Munich appears unlikely given his current physical condition.
