Real Madrid have been quick and effective so far in the transfer market, closing as many as four signings already.
More incomings are expected in the coming weeks, but for that to happen, the Merengues need to make some cuts to their current roster as well.
One player who is certain to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer happens to be out-of-favour midfielder Dani Ceballos.
As already reported, the Spaniard has been in talks with Real Madrid over a termination of his contract which has only one year left on it.
However, according to journalist Jose Felix Diaz (via Ruben Martin YouTube), Real Madrid and Ceballos have yet to reach an agreement over terminating his contract prematurely.

The 29-year-old midfielder is keen to secure the termination so that he can return to his boyhood club, Real Betis, on a free transfer given the Verdiblancos’ reluctance to pay a fee.
However, Real Madrid are unwilling to let Ceballos leave without receiving anything in return. The club do not want to let him leave for nothing and pay him the salary for the final year of his contract as well.
This has led to a stand-off in talks and an agreement, therefore, has not been finalised as of yet.
But, considering that both parties are eager to go their separate ways, a resolution is expected to be reached in the coming days.
Signed from Real Betis in the summer of 2017 as one of the most promising young midfielders in Spain, Ceballos never really hit it off at Real Madrid.

After a couple of seasons where he barely played, the Spaniard was shipped out on loan to Arsenal, where he endured mix fortunes.
Upon returning to the Santiago Bernabeu, Ceballos failed to establish himself in the team partly due to injuries and partly due to the wealth of midfield options at the club.
This past season was a difficult one for the Spaniard as he was never really counted on by Xabi Alonso before he had a falling out with Alvaro Arbeloa.
Not in new manager Jose Mourinho’s plans, the time is right for Ceballos to bring down the curtains on his time at Real Madrid and start afresh.
