Frontman Gonzalo has spent the majority of the campaign to date plying his trade for Real Madrid Castilla.

Across 35 appearances for Los Blancos’ reserve outfit, the 21-year-old has racked up an impressive 24 goals and four assists.

Such production has culminated in Gonzalo being afforded a chance to impress at senior level of late, amid the ongoing injury crisis in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

All told, Gonzalo has taken to the pitch for Real’s first-team on three occasions, between La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

The most recent came on Sunday, when the youngster was introduced off the bench during the capital club’s meeting with Sevilla.

And Gonzalo went on to play a telling role, laying on Jude Bellingham for Real Madrid’s decisive 2nd of the clash.

This adds to a previous goal netted by the Spaniard during a Copa victory over Leganés back in February, meaning that, all told, Gonzalo has directly contributed to a goal every 24 minutes at senior level this season.
