Real Sociedad’s travelling support vastly outstripped their official allocation for the visit to Deportivo Alavés.

According to Diario Vasco, Alavés set aside 367 tickets for the visitors, yet more than 3,000 txuri-urdin supporters were inside the stadium.

Distinguishing between the two sets of fans proved difficult because the clubs wear the same colours.

The match took place at Mendizorrotza.
