Real Sociedad set July return dates for Sanse and women’s team | OneFootball

Real Sociedad announced on Wednesday that Sanse and the women’s side will return to work in early July, with sessions at Zubieta. Both head into pre-season after securing Segunda División survival and Champions League qualification respectively.

Ansotegi’s Sanse will report first, beginning pre-season on nine July. Summer friendlies and opponents are yet to be set, with details to follow from the club. The new campaign’s start date remains unconfirmed, though it is due in mid August.

The men’s first team are scheduled to return on four July under Pellegrino Matarazzo.

The women’s squad are back on 14 July. They will have a little over six weeks to prepare for a campaign pencilled in to start at the end of August.

Arturo Ruiz’s team also face a Champions League qualifying tie in the last week of August and the first of September, which will shape their summer plans. Both squads aim to match last season’s levels, though that will be demanding. The competition calendars for both teams will be released on 30 June.
