Real Sociedad trio ruled out of Real Madrid clash | OneFootball

Three members of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad will play no part in the club’s upcoming showdown with Real Madrid.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in San Sebastian.

The final round of fixtures of the La Liga campaign are of course set to be played out this coming weekend.

As part of as much, Real Sociedad will make the trip to Spain’s capital, for a meeting with the aforementioned Real Madrid.

The matchup marks an altogether significant one for both clubs, set to bid farewell to Imanol and Carlo Ancelotti respectively this summer.

And in the case of the former, he looks set to be forced to make do without several important players in his final outing on La Real’s bench.

As per Mundo Deportivo:

‘Imanol already knows that he will not be able to count on Nayef Aguerd and Sheraldo Becker, as well as Orri Óskarsson, for his farewell. None of the three returned to team training this Thursday and continue with their individual recoveries.’
