Red Bulls to take on Leeds United in friendly | OneFootball

RB Leipzig’s summer schedule is now finalised. Alongside previously announced friendly matches against Ingolstadt and Verl, as well as a trip to FC Bayern München, it’s now confirmed that the Red Bulls will contest further pre-season fixtures against Leeds United and VSG Altglienicke.

On Saturday, 8th August, RBL will test their mettle in a friendly fixture at Elland Road, a ground steeped in tradition. Kick-off against the Yorkshire-based Premier League side is scheduled for 15:00 CEST. It will be the first-ever encounter between the two clubs.

The game will follow on directly from RB Leipzig’s training camp in Saalfelden (1st-7th August), two weeks before the competitive season gets underway with the first round of the DFB-Pokal. That fortnight gap isn’t short of action, of course. The Red Bulls will head to Bavaria for a friendly at FC Bayern on 15th August, and will celebrate their season opening event together with the fans in Leipzig on 16th August.

Leipzig will also face VSG Altglienicke on Saturday, 18th July in their opening pre-season fixture of 2026/27. The game against the Berlin-based Regionalliga outfit will kick off at 14:00 CEST at the Stadion am Bad, the ground of SSV Markranstädt.

Ticket sales for the friendly matches will take place directly through Leeds United and SSV Markranstädt.
