Referees have been appointed for Serie A Week 19, covering Lecce vs Roma, Napoli vs Verona, Milan vs Genoa, Bologna vs Atalanta and Lazio vs Fiorentina. The round runs from Tuesday to Thursday, six to eight January, and marks the season’s halfway point.

According to Football Italia, scrutiny on officials is high after recent controversy around refereeing and VAR decisions. Roma were particularly aggrieved, and their trip to Lecce will be overseen by Juan Luca Sacchi.
