Luca Reggiani made his senior Italy debut against Greece on Sunday, but received a straight red card just 13 minutes after being introduced from the bench in the second half.
Borussia Dortmund defender Reggiani received a straight red card in his first game with the senior Italy national team.
The 18-year-old was introduced at minute 55 to replace injured Fiorentina defender Pietro Comuzzo, but his first game at a senior level with the Azzurri only lasted 13 minutes.

Reggiani was sent off for pulling the shirt of Anastasios Douvikas and preventing the Como forward from latching onto a long pass.
Although the incident occurred near the halfway line, Reggiani was Italy’s last defender, prompting referee Yigal Frid to show a straight red card.
Reggiani was the 17th Italy player to make his debut under caretaker coach Silvio Baldini in the last two matches.
Baldini warmly hugged Reggiani when the Italian defender approached the Italy bench to leave the field after seeing red.
Last March, Reggiani had become the youngest Italian player to score a goal in the Bundesliga.
