Régis Le Bris is encouraged by Enzo Le Fée’s scoring start to pre-season and believes it underlines the midfielder’s potential impact for Sunderland in 2026/27.

He opened with a brace at York City a week earlier, then struck from long range against Liverpool in a 4-2 defeat at the weekend. According to Sunderland Echo, Le Bris says extra goals could elevate his already creative, well-connected play.

He feels Le Fée is at his best centrally, where his mobility links midfielders and centre backs. If the 26-year-old becomes more decisive in front of goal, he could influence games even more.
