Remo close to loan for Santos defender Zé Ivaldo | OneFootball

Remo are close to agreeing a loan for Santos defender Zé Ivaldo, 29, according to Globo.com.

The centre-back has made 12 appearances in 2026. He began the year as a starter but slipped down the pecking order, and he has not come off the bench in recent matches.

Zé Ivaldo has been at Santos since 2025. Before moving to São Paulo, he played for Athletico Paranaense, Vitória and Cruzeiro.

At Remo, he would compete for minutes with Marllon, Tchamba, Léo Andrade and recent arrival Matheus Felipe.

If completed, the deal would mark Remo’s third addition of this mid-season window. Alongside Matheus Felipe, the club have also added midfielder Edson Fernando from Ukraine.
