Remo would have to pay R$ 4 million to field Zé Ivaldo and Patrick against parent club Santos in the Copa do Brasil round of 16. According to Diario Do Peixe, the clause is R$ 2 million per player.
The sides meet on Saturday at 21:00 at Vila Belmiro, with the return on Tuesday at 21:30 at Mangueirão.
Both players are on loan from Santos to the Pará club until the end of the season. Patrick, short of minutes at the Alvinegro, moved in January, has 22 appearances and one goal, and his Santos contract also expires this year.
Zé Ivaldo was separated from the first team when Santos reconvened after the World Cup break, trained apart and joined Remo two weeks ago. He has since featured three times.
He has 12 outings this year, five in the Brasileirão and seven in the Paulista. Signed last year on loan from Cruzeiro, a 60 percent appearance clause triggered a US$ 1 million purchase. He totalled 34 games for Santos last season.
Patrick joined Santos in 2024 on loan from Atlético-MG with a US$ 1 million option, payable from 2025 in 12 monthly instalments of about R$ 400,000. In 2025 he played 41 times on loan at Athletico-PR.
