Renatinho’s late strike puts him on Corinthians Futsal scoring podium after 1-1 with Cascavel | OneFootball

Renatinho struck at the death to rescue a 1-1 draw for Corinthians against Cascavel and move into joint second in the club’s scoring chart this season.

The Liga Nacional de Futsal round-four match on Thursday night at Ginásio Wlamir Marques seemed gone until the winger stepped up as a flying goalkeeper and levelled in the final seconds.

Igor Bredof picked him out through the middle and Renatinho drilled into Nicolas’s corner for his third goal of the campaign. The equaliser lifted him alongside teammates Kevin and Rick on three.

Maicon leads the way for Corinthians with five in 10 games. Igor Bredof, Fabinho and Lucas Martins have two apiece, with three other players on one.

With Renatinho available to coach Fernando Malafaia, Corinthians visit reigning LNF champions Jaraguá on Wednesday 6 at Arena Jaraguá, kick-off 20:00, in round five.
