Renaud Ripart signs one-year Troyes extension and returns to training | OneFootball

Renaud Ripart has signed a one-year extension with Troyes, who return to Ligue 1. The 33-year-old forward reported back to training on Friday morning.

The club said in a statement on Thursday that he had agreed to stay for one more season, leaving him under contract until June 2027, and praised his commitment, humility and team ethic.

Ripart had been out of contract since the end of June but reached agreement to continue in Aube. He scored eight goals in 26 matches last season after returning from injury as the Ligue 2 champions sealed promotion.

The former Nîmes player has been at Troyes since 2021. He has 154 Ligue 1 appearances, with 29 goals and 10 assists.

An influential presence in the dressing room that won promotion and is yet to be reinforced, he adds significant top-flight experience.
