The injury crisis, which is impacting Gian Piero Gasperini’s decisions, continues.
The home draw against Atalanta brought with it two new problems in defence: around the hour mark, Mancini requested a substitution due to muscle tightness.
However, his condition is not particularly worrying for the upcoming fixtures.
Rensch’s situation appears more serious.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutch full-back was forced off the pitch with a suspected flexor injury, which, if confirmed by tests, could have ended his season.
However, there are positive signs for next Saturday’s away match at the Dall’Ara against Bologna. Gasperini is preparing to recover Wesley, who doctors had withdrawn as a precaution for yesterday’s match, as well as Manu Koné and Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine is expected to gradually return to the group starting tomorrow.
