Renzo Saravia ‘to play in Arabia’ option as Belgrano eye return | OneFootball

Renzo Saravia left Valencia on 30 June after five matches in a short-term stint. La Voz reports he has an offer to play in Arabia at 33.

Belgrano, from his native Córdoba, hope to repatriate him and fans are enthusiastic. The move is not straightforward because the club’s finances are limited.

Valencia had turned to the free-agent market after injuries to Thierry Rendall and Dimitri Foulquier. Despite Saravia doing his job when called upon, the club did not seek to extend his stay.

The offer from Arabia would be far more lucrative. A return to Belgrano would rely more on sentiment than on outbidding that offer.

Saravia is back on the free-agent list, now with greater match sharpness than earlier in the year. His next destination remains undecided.
