Turkish side Besiktas are pursuing a move for Axel Disasi and are hoping to add the Frenchman to their squad before the end of the transfer window.
Disasi was one of a number of players the Blues wanted to move on this summer, but despite interest and offers he’s still at the club.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he made ten appearances, but they opted against making the move permanent.
Disasi is training at Chelsea with the now infamous “bomb squad,” which also contains Raheem Sterling and David Datro Fofana.
Bournemouth and West Ham were believed to have shown interest, whilst Disasi reportedly turned down moves to three Premier League clubs on deadline day.

Saudi side Neom are thought to be considering making another approach for Disasi, with the window there still open until September 10th.
Chelsea do still have other options, with the window in Turkey open until September 12th, and Turkish-Football have reported Besiktas are pursuing a move for Disasi.
The report adds Besiktas are looking to add the Frenchman to their squad, and are said to have made preliminary enquiries, with Disasi’s versatility a major factor in their interest.
Whilst Disasi could secure a move to Turkey, it appears Sterling will remain at Chelsea until at least January after he failed to secure a move away.
Sterling reportedly had interest from Premier League clubs, but ultimately no offers were received for the winger on deadline day.

Chelsea are reluctant to pay off Sterling’s contract, and he’s made it clear he’s not open to going to Turkey or Saudi Arabia.
It appears the 30-year-old will train on his own until January and hope that a move happens in that window, although a further four months of no football is unlikely to attract more suitors.
