The Blues were very quiet in January, but things are expected to be different in the summer with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.
Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, whilst it’s believed they want to add another midfielder and an attacker.
The Blues pursued Jeremy Jacquet for the majority of the January window, but the Frenchman opted to join Liverpool instead.
Chelsea are paying the price for failing to replace Levi Colwill after he suffered an ACL injury before the start of the season.
However, it appears the Blues will address the centre back issue in the summer, and there could be a serious revamp in that department.
Chelsea have been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Murillo, but it appears there’s another name on their radar, and Corriere Dello Sport have reported interest in Pavlovic.
The report states Chelsea are closely monitoring his development, and have made contact with his entourage over a possible move.
Corriere Dello Sport add Pavlovic is valued at €36m, and Milan want to build their defence around the Serbian next season.
Pavlovic has two years left on his current deal, and has made 30 appearances in all competitions, with Milan currently second in Serie A, six points behind rivals Inter.
Whilst the Blues are looking to add another centre back, it’s clear a number of the current crop will be moved on in the summer.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalobah will have two years left on their current deals in the summer, whilst there are also doubts over the future of Benoit Badiashile.

It’s possible all three leave, whilst decisions need to be taken on what to do with youngsters Josh Acheampong and Mamadou Sarr, and the centre back department could look very different at the start of next season.
